Shibuya Ultima CPX III Compound Site and Beiter 29mm with Zeiss K-lens

This is a reconditioned sight with new shims and windage dial.

The CPX III uses the ZPE system which is an adjustable aluminium wedge (secured by Nord-Lock washers) that helps eliminate gaps between the threaded locking block and aperture block. All of this helps eliminate backlash and play in the elevation adjustments, meaning you can set your sight with confidence that it will remain in the position that you set it in.

The CPX III has a new ‘flat-shelf’ indicator pin which is easier to adjust and sits closer to the surface of the sight tape whilst leaving enough room for layered tapes which makes it easier to check where you have the sight set. The flat shelf has two pins, both are locked in from the side with a screw which helps prevent accidental movements when locking them down.

The Shibuya CPX III uses an innovative ‘Tria-Lock’ system which keeps the scope rod approximately 1/2” closer to the elevation bar than conventional target sights. This significantly reduces the moment effect on the windage unit which is a significant factor in the development of play and faults. The innovative new Tria-Lock system encloses the scope rod holder from three sides, keeping it perfectly aligned and without play to produce a rattle-free, zero-tolerance environment.

The scope is +0.50 diopters or 4x magnification and comes with a sun-shade.

Beiter Scope - Ø29K With Zeiss K-Lens and Small Level. The Beiter scope has been well received since its introduction because of the high quality of the Zeiss K-Lens and the possibility to use the Beiter Scope-Pin-System (Pins and Rings). The scope includes a small Green level which can be easily removed and swapped out if required.

The Zeiss K-Lens (K="Kunststoff", the German word for "plastic") weighs 50% less than a similar glass lens with the same diopters. The Zeiss K-Lens have a centre hole with a 1.5mm diameter. In this hole, you have several aiming options thanks to the Beiter Scope Pin-System or the Fluor Pin Ø1.5m. The scope uses a 10/32 thread for use with compound sights.

It comes complete with original case and allen keys.
